Player Safety

Responsible Gaming at 89bb

89bb believes that gambling should be an enjoyable, controlled form of entertainment — never a source of stress or financial harm. Our responsible gaming tools are built to keep you in control at every step.

21+ Only The 89bb platform is strictly for adults aged 21 and above. We verify player age during registration and reserve the right to request ID documents at any time.

Our Commitment to Safe Play

Our commitment goes beyond just providing tools. 89bb's support team is trained to recognise and respond to signs of problem gambling. Any player who contacts us with concerns about their gambling behaviour will be treated with empathy, discretion, and urgency. We take every such communication seriously.

Our commitment goes beyond just providing tools. The 89bb support team is trained to recognise and respond to signs of problem gambling. Any player who contacts us with concerns about their gambling behaviour will be treated with empathy, discretion, and urgency. We take every such communication seriously and act promptly to connect players with the help they need.

Gambling at 89bb is designed to be a leisure activity — a way to enjoy cricket betting, live casino tables, and slot games alongside daily life in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, or anywhere across Bangladesh. It should never replace income, fund essential expenses, or be used to escape personal problems. If it ever starts to feel that way, the tools and support described on this page are here for you.

Player Protection Tools

All of the following tools are available free of charge to every registered 89bb player. Access them directly from the Settings section of your account dashboard at any time:

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps. Once active, limits take effect immediately and cannot be increased for 24 hours to protect against impulsive changes.

Session Time Limits

Define how long each gaming session can last. A visible countdown timer reminds you when your limit is approaching, and the session ends automatically when the limit is reached.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a short break of 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days. During a cooling-off period, you cannot place bets or access gaming features, but withdrawals and account management remain available.

Self-Exclusion

Exclude yourself from the 89bb platform for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or permanently. Self-exclusion blocks all access to gaming and cannot be reversed during the chosen period.

Activity History

Review a full record of your bets, deposits, withdrawals, and session durations at any time. Transparency about your own activity is a powerful tool for maintaining healthy habits.

Reality Check Alerts

Set a reminder that appears on screen at regular intervals during an active session — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes — showing how long you have been playing and how much you have spent.

How to activate: Log in to 89bb, navigate to Account Settings, then select Responsible Gaming. All tools listed above are available in that single panel. Changes to limits that increase restriction take effect immediately. Changes that relax restriction (e.g. raising a deposit cap) require a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before they are applied — this protects you from making impulsive decisions during a session.

How to Activate Your Protection Tools

Setting up responsible gaming controls on your 89bb account takes under two minutes. Follow these steps:

1

Log In to 89bb

Open the 89bb platform on your phone and log in to your registered account using your mobile number and password.
2

Go to Account Settings

Tap the profile icon in the top corner of the screen, then select Account Settings from the dropdown menu that appears.
3

Select Responsible Gaming

Within Account Settings, tap the Responsible Gaming tab. Here you will find all available player protection tools in one place, clearly labelled and easy to configure.
4

Set Your Limits and Confirm

Choose the tools that are right for your situation — deposit limits, time limits, a cooling-off period, or self-exclusion. Confirm your selections. Restrictive changes take effect immediately; relaxing changes are subject to a 24-hour waiting period for your protection.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually and is not always easy to recognise in yourself. The following are common warning signs. If several of these feel familiar, we encourage you to use the protection tools above and to reach out for support:

Spending more money on gambling than you planned or can afford, repeatedly.
Chasing losses — continuing to bet in order to recover money lost in previous sessions.
Gambling with money intended for essential expenses such as rent, food, utilities, or loan repayments.
Feeling restless, anxious, or irritable when not gambling, or when trying to cut down.
Lying to family members or friends about how much time or money you spend gambling.
Using gambling as a way to escape stress, anxiety, depression, or difficult personal circumstances.
Neglecting work, studies, relationships, or health because of time spent gambling.

Recognising these signs is a sign of strength, not weakness. 89bb's responsible gaming tools and support team are here to help, without judgment, at any time.

Tips for Playing Safely

Responsible gaming starts with a few simple habits that keep gambling in its proper place as a leisure activity. Before each session, decide on a budget — the maximum amount you are genuinely comfortable losing — and a time limit. Treat both as firm boundaries, not flexible guidelines. If you reach either limit, stop for the day regardless of how the session is going.

Never gamble when you are tired, stressed, intoxicated, or in a negative emotional state. Decisions made under these conditions are rarely good ones, and losses felt in these states tend to trigger the chasing behaviour that leads to problem gambling. The 89bb platform is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — you can always come back when you are in a better frame of mind.

Remember that every game outcome at 89bb is determined by certified Random Number Generator (RNG) technology — past results have no influence on future outcomes. There is no such thing as a "hot streak" that is guaranteed to continue, nor a "cold streak" that is certain to reverse. Every spin, every hand, and every bet is statistically independent. Keeping this in mind helps you gamble with realistic expectations and prevents the false reasoning that can escalate ordinary play into problem gambling.

Protecting Minors from Gambling

89bb strictly prohibits the use of the platform by anyone under the age of 21. Age verification is part of our registration process, and we reserve the right to request government-issued identification documents from any player at any time. Any account found to belong to or to have been accessed by a person under 21 will be suspended immediately and all funds held pending investigation.

If you share a device with younger family members — which is common across households in Dhaka, Chittagong, and other parts of Bangladesh — we strongly recommend setting a password or PIN on your 89bb account and logging out after every session. Do not save your login credentials in a shared browser, and keep payment method details (bKash, Nagad, bank card information) secured separately on your device.

If you suspect a minor has accessed your account: Contact 89bb support immediately at [email protected]. Request an immediate account freeze while we investigate. Our team will guide you through the process of securing your account and reviewing any activity that may have taken place.

Get Help — You Are Not Alone

If you feel that gambling is no longer something you can control — or if someone close to you has expressed concern about your gambling — please reach out. There is no shame in asking for help, and doing so early makes a significant difference. 89bb's support team is available around the clock and will respond with care, not judgment.

89bb Responsible Gaming Support

Our support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are concerned about your gambling, contact us and tell us how you are feeling. We will help you activate the right protection tools for your situation, escalate to a self-exclusion if needed, and provide information about professional support resources available in Bangladesh.

Please be as open as you feel comfortable being. Everything you share with us is treated in strict confidence. There is no penalty for reaching out — we are here to help, not to close your account or penalise your play. Our goal is to make sure that 89bb remains a safe and enjoyable experience for you.

[email protected]

Beyond 89bb's own support, players in Bangladesh who are struggling with problem gambling are encouraged to speak with a trusted family member, a GP, or a mental health professional. Open conversations about gambling problems are becoming more common and more accepted across Bangladesh, and professional help is available for those who seek it.
